This is a holder that supports 3-cell 18650 lithium-ion batteries.

If you are building Li-Ion / LiFePO4 18650 cells, we encourage you to install these specific PCBs as they will provide longer battery life.

It is recommended for use in high discharge current batteries and large batteries. When the battery provides a high discharge current, it will generate a lot of heat. The battery holders will keep the individual cells separate. For large heavy batteries, the holders can help maintain the structure of the pack, so the stress will not pass to the solder points on the nickel tabs, preventing broken solder points in the battery.

The holders are designed to stack on top of each other so you can create any battery size you want.
