Floss Threads for Dyeing Easter Eggs 35 gr

Floss threads are ideal for dyeing eggs and are primarily eco-friendly. They come in many colors, and the result is unique each time. You can make your eggs colorful or plain for the more classic styles.

The dyeing process is very easy and quick. Each package is enough for about 15 - 20 eggs (depending on the amount you apply to each egg).

Here are the steps below:

• Our materials: floss threads, aluminum foil, scissors, and eggs! (White eggs come out lighter in color)
• We wash our eggs and place them in a container with tap water. We cut the aluminum foil into pieces so that we can wrap our eggs like candies.
• We cut our threads into pieces about 4-6 centimeters long, into a plate.
• With all our materials ready and cut, we begin the process.
• We take the egg out of the water and roll it in the cut threads. These will stick to the egg.
• We place it into the aluminum foil and wrap it like a candy, tightly so that it adheres well, and all the threads touch the egg.
• We repeat the same process for the remaining eggs, placing them in a large pot and boiling them for about 15 to 20 minutes.
• Very carefully, to avoid burns, we take them out and let them cool a bit.
• We unwrap our candies and see the proud result!
• It would be good to brush them with a little olive oil on top for shine.
• Finally, we decorate them on a beautiful platter in our home.
