The special, slightly twisted and expanded shape of the port diffuses the air vortex naturally created around its edges, ensuring an absolutely smooth and continuous airflow. This advanced design dramatically reduces unwanted aerodynamic noise, delivering a clean, precise, and realistic reproduction of low frequencies, whether for explosive movie effects or the live atmosphere of a concert.

The production of dynamic low frequencies is supported by a built-in high-efficiency PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) digital amplifier, delivering a steady power output of 130 Watts. The amplifier minimizes power consumption and heat generation, while the absence of a filter coil at the output ensures exceptionally low noise and distortion levels with lightning-fast transient response. At the same time, the advanced dual feedback circuit applies feedback twice, providing even greater sound clarity.

Exclusively developed by Yamaha, the Advanced YST II (Yamaha Active Servo Technology II) technology combines the principles of negative impedance and constant current to drive the speaker cone with absolute control. Using Advanced Negative Impedance Converter (ANIC) circuits, the system dynamically optimizes the effective impedance of the speaker, maintaining exemplary linearity. This allows the high-quality 8-inch (20 cm) cone woofer to deliver a stable, precise, and impressively deep bass response that enhances every acoustic experience.

The NS-SW200 stands out for its top usability, featuring the Front Control Panel for immediate access. The power and volume buttons are positioned at a 45-degree angle, making adjustments extremely easy even when the subwoofer is placed on the floor, while a discreet LED indicator shows the operating status. Externally, the beautiful rounded design with elegant side panels creates a premium look that harmonizes well with a wide range of speakers and interior decorations.

Designed for maximum comfort and eco-friendly operation, the subwoofer incorporates Auto Standby function with a signal detection sensitivity selector (high, low, off). If no signal is detected from the amplifier for a certain period, it automatically switches to sleep mode, reducing power consumption to an extremely low level of 0.3 Watts, while instantly activating as soon as playback starts. Additionally, it features a System Control port to connect directly with your compatible amplifier, allowing simultaneous power on/off of devices, as well as a phase control adjustment (Phase control normal/reverse).
