The Scrub Daddy/Mommy sponges are great! I was sceptical but they perform as advertised. They last much longer than normal sponges, they don't smell, don't scratch (but still clean tough leftovers). I haven't done the math with traditional sponges but I think I either save money or at least break even with these sponges compared to a standard one. However, even if they did end up being slightly more expensive, I'd still get them for not having to put up with gross sponge smells and fewer sponges in general ending up in the landfill!
