The Yamaha DM3-D digital mixer combines 22 mixing channels with Dante connectivity for transferring 16 audio inputs and 16 outputs. The 9-inch multitouch display and Touch & Turn controller make it easy to manage its functions, while the 9 motorized faders support control of the mix and monitor levels. Firmware version 3 adds an 8-channel Automixer on input channels 1–8 and support for the Rio3224-D3 and Rio1608-D3.

The 16 analog Mic/Line inputs include 12 XLR inputs and 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs, while there are 8 XLR outputs. The console supports multitrack recording via USB to a computer and two-track recording to USB storage. It also provides DAW remote control, including via HUI and Cubase AI, as well as playback and volume control from its controls.
