POLYURETHANE IMPREGNATION VARNISH

Water-based alkyd polyurethane impregnation varnish, with 43% bio-based ingredients according to EN16640:2017 method, modified with nanotechnology. It protects, waterproofs, and decorates wood. It is tinted in the KRAFT INSPIRED COLOR system in selected semi-transparent glossy shades that highlight the wood grain.

Suitable for external and internal wooden surfaces, such as doors, windows, frames, pergolas, fences, claddings, benches, etc. It is also suitable for children's furniture and toys, as it complies with the EN71-3 standard.

The integrated UV filters and special additives enhance its water-repellent property, effectively protecting from sun, rain, humidity, and pollutants. At the same time, due to the biocides it contains, it effectively prevents mold and fungi growth on its film.

• Application Surfaces: The surface must be dry, stable, and clean of dust, other residues, and loose old paints.
• Where to use it: On external and internal wooden surfaces, such as doors, windows, frames, pergolas, fences, claddings, benches, etc. It is also suitable for children's furniture and toys, as it complies with the EN71-3 standard.
• Coverage: 14 - 16m²/L per coat. Requires 2-3 coats.
• Gloss: Semimatte

• Cleaning: With water and soap
• Drying Time: Surface dry in 1 – 2 hours at 25°C and 60% relative humidity. Drying time is affected by weather conditions. Minimum recoating time 24 hours.
• Shades: Transparent and in 12 chart shades. The final shade of the wood depends on its original color and age.
• Packaging: 750ml, 2.5Ltr

Instructions:

• The product is ready to use. Up to 5% water can be added optionally.
• Check the moisture content of the surface before painting. It should not exceed 10%.
• Do not apply on wood surfaces in contact with the ground or water.
• The durability of the material decreases when applied on horizontal surfaces that are walked on.
• Some types of wood such as impregnated oak and Iroko reduce the durability of the material.
• The appropriate painting tool is a brush.
• Apply 2-3 coats of KRAFT WOOD SHIELD COLOR BASED for optimal results.
• Its coverage decreases when applied on dark-colored or differently shaded woods.
• For very exposed surfaces, apply 3 coats of KRAFT WOOD SHIELD COLOR BASED.
• Minimum recoating time 24 hours.
• Surface dry in 1 – 2 hours at 25°C and 60% relative humidity. Drying time is influenced by weather conditions.
• The final wood shade depends on its original color and age.
• Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C and above 35°C as well as above 60% relative humidity.
