Bag End is a home of comfort. It is a place to start a story and a place to return to once the journey is over. It is warm, safe, and full of surprises. Now the key to all this is yours.

During the production of The Lord of the Rings, Wētā Workshop had the mission to help build the foundations of how Middle-earth would appear on screen. From the largest towers to the smallest Hobbit holes, countless sketches were made that described every aspect, and although we didn’t see every design come to life on the big screen, each piece played an important role in exploring the world it belonged to.

For the first time, Wētā Workshop is proud to have the opportunity to bring to life a piece of Middle-earth that until now existed only in written form: The Key to Bag End.
