Super Bomberman R 2 for Xbox Series X combines explosive battles across four modes: Standard, Grand Prix, Battle 64 and the new Castle mode. In Castle mode, the attacking team vies for the treasure while the castle team protects the chest. The game includes a Story Mode featuring new planets and the Bomberman Ellons, as well as offline and online play options.

Use the Stage Editor to create Castle stages with blocks and mechanisms, then share them online. Grade Match pairs players of a similar skill level, while Room Match lets you freely choose the modes and rules. An Xbox Live Gold subscription, sold separately, is required for online battles.
