I have cut both soft and hard woods without any difficulty. You just need to have the appropriate blade so that it doesn't struggle. Its motor doesn't feel strained and it hasn't had any issues. It is worth it for anyone who has the money.

Αξιόπιστο εργαλείο, απροβληματιστο με πάρα πολλά ανταλλακτικά σε λεπίδες και τηλεφωνική υποστήριξη οταν χρειαστείς κάτι. Έχω κόψει μαλακά και σκληρά ξύλα χωρίς να ζοριστεί καθόλου. Απλά θα πρέπει να έχεις την κατάλληλη λεπίδα για να μην ζορίζεται. Το μοτέρ του δεν νιώθει. Και δεν έχει πάθει τίποτα. Όποιος διαθέτει τα λεφτά αξίζει.

In these years, I had to go to the service center twice because the switch burned out. Nothing serious, cheap repair and you can do it yourself if you know how. One time was completely justified, as it was working continuously for hours, my mistake, the motor overheated. Reliable motor, sturdy construction.
It accepts blades without teeth, very important for a saw.
Keep in mind that it is one of those tools that you need to learn, and the cutting quality depends a lot on your experience. How much you tension the blade depending on what you want to do, how fast you feed it, and at what speed you turn the material for curves, angles, etc. It's not just "putting the blade, cutting, and done."
Also, it is not a tool designed to cut straight lines. If you want perfectly straight lines, only a disc saw. Or maybe a properly adjusted, high-quality band saw.
The only negative thing I can find is the air outlet for dust removal at the cutting point, as it does not have enough power.

Τίποτα το σοβαρό, φτηνή επισκευή και την κάνεις και μόνος σου αν ξέρεις. Η μία φορά ήταν απόλυτα δικαιολογημένη, καθώς δούλευε συνεχόμενα ώρες, λάθος δικό μου δηλαδή, το μοτέρ ζεμάταγε. Αξιόπιστο μοτέρ, "σκυλί" και στιβαρή κατασκευή.
Παίρνει και λάμες χωρίς δοντάκια, πολύ σημαντικό για μία σέγα.
Υπόψιν ότι είναι από τα εργαλεία που πρέπει να τα μάθεις και η ποιότητα κοπής εξαρτάται πάρα πολύ από την εμπειρία σου. Στο πόσο θα τεντώσεις την λάμα ανάλογα το τι θες να κάνεις, πόσο γρήγορα θα τροφοδοτείς και με τι ταχύτητα θα γυρίζεις το υλικό για καμπύλες, γωνίες κτλ. Δεν είναι "βάζω λάμα, κόβω και τέλος".
Επίσης δεν είναι εργαλείο σχεδιασμένο να κόβει σε ευθείες. Αν θέλετε απόλυτα σωστές ευθείες, μόνο δισκοπρίονο. Ή ίσως σωστά ρυθμισμένη, ποιοτική πριονοκορδέλα.
Το μόνο αρνητικό που μπορώ να βρώ είναι η έξοδος του αέρα, για την απομάκρυνση της σκόνης στο σημείο κοπής καθώς δεν έχει επαρκή δύναμη.
Οι σέγες της proxxon είναι μονόδρομος δυστυχώς στην Ελλάδα, καθώς μέχρι στιγμής άλλη σε παρόμοια ποιότητα δεν βρίσκεις.
