The 10th revised and expanded edition (second Greek) of "Personality Theories: Research and Applications" by Cervone and Pervin, published nearly 40 years after the original, maintains the thematic structure, characteristics, and general goals of previous editions, while also being enriched with modern research data.

This edition additionally includes two new chapters: one examines the biological bases of personality, specifically the extent to which observed individual differences in personality traits are due to genetic differences. The other chapter explores the cultural, social, and interpersonal bases of personality.
