Description

Thermally treated wood for flooring. The thermal treatment provides an environmentally friendly alternative, while significantly improving the durability of the wood.

Thermal treatment is a computer-controlled process carried out in specialized kilns, at high temperatures. Only steam and heat, with no additional chemicals, result in increased stability and durability, significantly extending the lifespan of the wood.

Natural wood is warm and inviting in both indoor and outdoor spaces. It is important to choose wood that is not only attractive but also durable.

Thermally treated wood offers just that. The stability and durability of Thermory Ash guarantee a thermal treatment process called Intense, during which the wood is heated up to 215 degrees.

Linden (basswood) is characterized by a dark tone.

Without protective maintenance, thermally treated wood will over time turn into gray silver, although the material will retain its weather-resistant properties.

Thermally treated linden has become an integral part of architects' projects, as the natural gray hue is popular in places like Scandinavia.

The floor can be installed using various visible and invisible installation systems.

Process

  • Only heat and steam are used (no chemicals)
  • Top industrial kilns
  • Computer-controlled process
  • Two levels of modification: Medium (peak temperature 190°C), Intense (maximum temperature 250ºC)

Stability

  • No shrinkage - expansion
  • Minimal moisture content
  • Minimal chance of warping, twisting, or shrinking

Durability

  • Class 1 durability
  • No toxic substances

Color & Beauty

  • "Thermo ash" has a chocolate color
  • After installation, it naturally ages to platinum gray
  • Color variations are natural
