    I chose it because it has large wooden blades, not plastic ones, which matched the bedroom. During the hot days, I had it on the first speed and it did its job very well. The bigger the blades, the more efficient it is since you don't need to increase the speed. It is completely silent, which is very important. It has a remote control which helps so you don't have to get up to turn it on. The only negative thing that bothered me, and that's why the 4 stars, is the annoying beep every time you press a button on the remote, which I isolated so it wouldn't go off at night when I want to turn it on and off.
