First of all, I have made quite a few plugs for category 5E and especially 6A and above, and I have used various plugs, some bad and some good.
To make 2 important connections on a switch, I wanted a very good plug. I chose the above because it is from a specific company, states category 8.1, and its price (6+€/piece) suggested high quality.
Alas! I threw them away after the first attempt at connection. And I explain:
While you place the cable, the part that touches the ground (they even have a spring, for shame) is very close and there is an obvious difficulty in adjusting the length of the conductors in the adapter. Then you screw on the cover and the cable, despite being within the thickness specifications, moves around wildly. Finally, the adapter has irrelevant markings on it along with the specification for T568A! Well, what technician nowadays makes connections in A? And to conclude, the plug (worth, I repeat, 6+ €) does not contain the slightest instructions inside its packaging!
Now someone will tell me, man, what are you trying to do, get a professional to do the job for you. And I reply, for 2 connections, even if they are high quality, should I call CISCO USA?
