The Kånken backpack was released in 1978 to help prevent back problems in children going to school in Sweden. After 35 years, the Kånken, having straightened millions of backs, has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products.
The Kånken No. 2 backpack is made from durable double-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty with an internal back pocket in G-1000 Lite. It is a durable everyday backpack that can be used for work, a walk, or travel.
The main compartment has a large opening that makes it easy to move items. The back pocket has protection in G-1000 HeavyDuty for greater comfort. It features two open side pockets and a front zippered pocket. The backpack comes with leather handles and leather details with fabric straps. It can be reinforced with Greenland Wax to increase its durability.
G-1000 is Fjällräven's durable and versatile material, capable of handling all kinds of adventures in all climates, all year round. This densely woven material (65% polyester and 35% high-quality cotton) has been treated with Greenland Wax.
