    By the way, because there are a bunch of other reviews on similar brand bulbs, 12V LED bulbs like this one require a special transformer (LED power supply) to function properly. If you put it directly into a lamp that had a halogen, it will flicker because the old transformer does not provide a stable enough current. This is what happened with the old lamp I put it in until I changed the one inside its base. Now it works fine.

If you put it directly into a lamp that had a halogen, it will flicker because the old transformer does not provide a stable enough current. This is what happened with the old lamp I put it in until I changed the one inside its base. Now it works fine.
