CPU Cooling Fans

Thermalright True Spirit 140 CPU Cooling Fan for 1366/2011/775/115x Socket White

The cooler from Thermalright is active, which means it uses a fan to reduce the processor's temperature. With just 21dB of noise, this cooler makes minimal noise and won't distract you. It has a 360W TDP. To properly operate the cooler, its wattage performance should be at least equal to the processor's Thermal Design Power (TDP). This will also help with the noise generated by the cooler's fan, as it won't reach its limits. A cooler with a lower TDP than the processor's may be less effective, noisy, and could potentially reduce the lifespan and performance of your processor. See full description

  • Minimum Noise Level: 21dB

  • Socket: 1366, 2011, 775, 1150/1151/1155/1156

It fit comfortably in the 760t case, I would call the installation child's play. The instructions for AM4 were very clear and easy to understand, although they could have been more detailed. The performance-to-price ratio is exceptional, and the cooling efficiency is fantastic. It is virtually silent at 600 RPM.

With the cooler installed on a Ryzen 1600 with Arctic MX-4 thermal paste, it reached a temperature of 47 degrees Celsius after running Prime 95 (small FFT's maximum heat) for an hour in a room with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius. During idle, it even reached as low as 23 degrees Celsius.

For 40 euros, it gets the job done and can handle many liquid cooling options. Compared to air coolers like Noctua and Be Quiet, it surpasses them easily. Trust it, and you won't lose, but rather gain in both performance and value for money.

Unfortunately, I noticed that the base where the heatpipes come out is not flat, so I will have to replace it. I was unlucky. Once I have the normal level of patience, I will comment again.

With the new cooler, which is much less distorted, I had temperatures as low as 20 degrees Celsius during idle and 44 degrees Celsius at maximum load while running Prime 95 (small FFT's maximum heat) for an hour in a room with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius. The non-existent fan was running at 600 RPM in all measurements.

Therefore, I am changing my rating to 3 stars because a company is not only made up of products but also of personnel who know how to recognize their mistakes and admit them. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. In short, the experience with the customer support staff is literally disgusting! Terrible personal support! Completely worthless! If you happen to speak to someone named Varick, good luck to you...

One of the best purchases I have ever made! Apart from its exceptional appearance and the feeling of quality it exudes, and especially at almost half the price and with half the width and weight of other coolers in its category, this specific air cooler with 6x8mm heatpipes has comparable performance to top air coolers and a TDP of 360W (although these values are indicative, as for the much bulkier Silver Arrow IB-E and Le Grand Macho RT, the same company gives a TDP of only 320W, perhaps because their heatpipes have a diameter of 6mm). It is also worth mentioning that the PWM fan of the cooler (TY-147) has proven to have the best airflow/noise ratio across the entire rpm/dBA curve compared to all fans on the market (along with the Noctua A14/A15/P14), which is why the 140 Power is one of the quietest coolers available! Personally, I bought another identical fan for my case and now there is no noise even at low speeds.

Excellent cooler from Thermalright, suitable for all sockets except AM4 which you can get through the website by paying only for shipping. Quality construction with 6 heatpipes of 8mm ensuring low temperatures on your processor. The 140mm fan is very quiet, even at 1100 RPM it was barely audible with the temperature reaching 28 degrees Celsius on a processor with 130W TDP (room temperature 21 degrees). Easy installation, but the only thing that gave me a little trouble was the clips (there are many in the box) that secure the fan. I would prefer something more convenient. In addition, I would also like to add the rubber pads included in the packaging, which you can put in the corners of the cooler to prevent any kind of vibration. Finally, it does not cover any RAM slots, there is plenty of space to install high profile memory. It only lacks RGB lighting ;) The downside is that due to its height (171.2mm and possibly more depending on how high you place the fan), it does not fit in many cases. Very satisfied. Recommended!!

P.S: Thermal paste is included in the packaging

Excellent cooler for its price, similar performance to coolers priced at 70 and 90 euros. Highly recommended.
On an overclocked i5-4690k at 4.4ghz with 1.24v in stress testing, temperatures do not exceed 65c with a room temperature of 25c.
The packaging is very well done and everything is in individual bags, from screws to the fan.
The only issue I personally had with the installation is that the fan is a bit tricky to fit, but nothing impossible.
    Exceptional cooler.

The cooler is excellent, at 1366 socket i7 at 4.0ghz it has 50-55c in gaming and 70c in prime95. It is very quiet, I have never heard it. It has done an excellent job on this hot processor, I can say it's the best 45 euros I have ever spent on a computer component.

There simply isn't a better one for its price! On my 2600k Intel overclocked to 4700 MHz, temperatures stay at 75°C. And it's also PWM, so it increases fan speed only when under load, making it very quiet.
