Three stars for me because the fans on the base, although removable, are very weak and not effective at all, especially for gaming laptops. In terms of construction, it is very good and high quality since it is made of aluminum. One more positive is that you can place the fans in various positions. For regular laptops, these fans might do the job. Their purpose is to refresh the air underneath the laptop that is hot and to bring in cooler air into the laptop's air ducts. Not to cool the laptop, but simply to help the internal fan of the laptop pull in cooler air.

Excellent choice, suitable for all laptops, has its own USB port. The only negative is that sometimes the fans come out if you shake it enough.

I use it on an HP Omen 17.3, and even though it's a large computer, it fits very comfortably. The fans are quiet, securely attached to the base, and provide satisfactory airflow. The tilt of the computer has changed and has become much more pleasant. I didn't notice any variations in temperatures during gaming, as the i9 and RTX2080 leave little room for that. However, in office work, there is a noticeable difference in how often the computer fans kick in.

I bought it the day before yesterday and I am amazed by the work it does. The laptop used to shut down after 2 hours of gaming, now it not only doesn't turn off but it's not even hot, its fans are running at idle! According to advanced system care, the temperatures have dropped by 10 degrees! Of course, one should pay attention to adjust the fans to the correct positions that correspond to the laptop's ventilation grilles. I hope the base continues to work like this for a long time.

Metal construction, only 1 USB port, a great size for a 17-inch laptop, it's worth its money!!

It is a large base. You can use it both on a desk and on your lap (without the fans though). Around the back of the base, it has rails to wrap cables. The USB that receives power outputs a USB so you don't lose it from your laptop.
There are three fans and you can place them wherever you want. However, their result is zero because they are very low pressure and airflow fans as they need to operate three octagonal fans from the laptop's 5V.
So if the laptop is 15.6" and you have temperature issues, it is better to get the U2 or one with a large fan. Or come up with a solution and disconnect the three 80mm fans and replace them with two 120mm fans.

Good value for the money it costs! Okay, it doesn't have clips to hold it, but it has the transport rubber that makes it very stable on the base and it doesn't come off at all.

I bought the product to use it with my alienware laptop, but it can be used for all laptops since it has 3 adjustable fans that can be placed in the position where each laptop's fan is located.

I have it for a year. Despite being 17 inches, it is convenient.

Advantage: the 3 fans that can be placed WHEREVER you want, so I have them on the laptop fan and on the processor, which heats up more.

As for the disadvantages, it does not have a laptop support clip, so it doesn't slide... so I placed a book in front of it, and it's perfect. It raised it by 3 inches and it's great.

The cable can be placed either on the left or on the right... very practical.

Although it sometimes makes a little noise and I hit it to calm it down... I give it an A grade due to its performance, cooling, and usefulness.

Very convenient as a base with fans and very good cooling. Very large for a 15.6" laptop but still quiet even at maximum speed. It has the same problems as the U2's legs, which are thin and sometimes stop and require a hit to start again, but I have had them for over a year and they haven't broken. The 3 fans are very convenient and sufficient for cooling computers used for gaming.
