CPU Cooling Fans

CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooling Fan for 115x Socket

The cooler from CoolerMaster is active, which means it uses a fan to reduce the processor's temperature. It has a 95W TDP. To properly operate the cooler, its wattage performance should be at least equal to the processor's Thermal Design Power (TDP). This will also help with the noise generated by the cooler's fan, as it won't reach its limits. A cooler with a lower TDP than the processor's may be less effective, noisy, and could potentially reduce the lifespan and performance of your processor. See full description

  • Minimum Noise Level: 35dB

  • Wonderful vacuum cleaner, when it was released I was impressed by its size. Of course, now it can't be compared to the new ones in terms of features. On the other hand, it still works just fine, just by dusting it off every few years.

  • I have it for about 2 years ... A reliable purchase for a cooler!
Quiet, good build quality, easy to install, low price, and if you want, you can add a second fan ...
In combination with new thermal paste ... you have amazing cooling results ...

  • A very good upgrade compared to the stock. Temperatures immediately drop by 10 degrees without anything else. Always make sure the airflow inside your case is unobstructed. It also takes a second fan for even better cooling - especially in the summer here in Greece! I dare say it is good even for overclocked systems within reasonable limits. I have used it on Quad-cores in sockets 775 and 1151 with overclocking and I really didn't need to deal with it again! Absolutely value for money!

The cooler is generally very good, I have had it since November 2015 and it is a guaranteed solution if you are thinking of replacing the factory one that Intel provides. I emphasize, of course, that for this price, do not expect miracles and it is not suitable for heavy overclocking and hardcore gaming. The body of the cooler is of very good quality and the fan does not make much noise. However, the feet are not of good quality and every time it is time to change the paste, I struggle quite a bit to attach it correctly and not break anything. Its cooling is very satisfactory, I use it with the Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz (3.90GHz Turbo Boost) and with Arctic Silver 5 paste. A good update for your PC for basic gaming.

15/04/2019 - Some temperature measurements (average) from HWiNFO64 (without OC) for you to have an idea.

Guys, if I could turn back time, I would go for the 212 Evo with a little more money for Intel processors because the stock cooler is a bit poor, it doesn't fit properly. Now, as for cooling, it is slightly better than the stock Intel cooler

This cooler performs well even with an 8700K at 4.7Ghz...idle at 30-35 and after 2 hours of pubg it was 55-58 max, simply unbelievable. Let others spend 100+ euros on liquid cooling.

The present cooler has been installed on an Intel Q6600 with minimal overclocking in a case that is exposed to increased temperature due to summer. I hope it continues to perform like this because it really works under adverse conditions where it is, as the store has smoke and increased temperature

  • Very good cooler for its price...
I replaced the stock cooler on an i5 4690k and I can say that now that summer has started, the temperatures are 35 idle and reached a maximum of 60 under full load with Intel's stress test.

EDIT 27/6/18 I changed the processor to an i5 8600k without overclocking and it performs decently with very good idle temperatures of 31-35, but under full load when the PC is pushed, it reaches up to 65...
It's a decent basic cooler, but not suitable for overclocking and heavy usage.

I am very satisfied with this cooler! I use it on an overclocked Core 2 Quad Q6700 processor running at 3.6ghz with the core voltage increased to 1.4V. Tremendous improvement in idle and full load temperatures compared to a cheap single pipe cooler I had before. The temperature during gaming does not exceed 71C. Of course, we are talking about a processor that has been overclocked by 1ghz and has extra voltage, consuming around 120 watts. Additionally, it does not take up much space in the case. Therefore, I believe that it is really worth buying for 20 euros, don't be afraid, it won't disappoint.

I have had it for about 10 days on an i5 8600k. In Tomb Raider, it had 55 degrees and in GTA V, 50 degrees. It is very good and quiet. I recommend it for anyone who does not want overclocking. Now, in the summer, we will see if it will need liquid cooling.

We have and we say it's neither good nor bad, it's about the same as the Intel stock cooler, but the reason is as follows: not only the cooler matters, but also the thermal paste we use. So, I got the Arctic MX-4 thermal paste and applied it to the Intel stock cooler on an 8th generation i3-8100 processor, GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 Gigabyte G1 SLI graphics card, one of the best.

Temperature of the Intel stock cooler: Mad Max Ultra - 50 degrees, Rise of the Tomb Raider Ultra - 45-50 degrees, GTA V Realistic Graphics - 40-50 degrees.

With Arctic MX-4 thermal paste and CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 EVO: Mad Max Ultra - 60-65 degrees, Rise of the Tomb Raider Ultra - 50-55 degrees, GTA V Realistic Graphics - 45-55 degrees.

We have been dealing with PCs for years, so take into consideration the thermal paste and not just the cooler, because then we move on to liquid cooling, my friends, for good performance. That's all from me, keep in mind the winner: Intel stock cooler, AMD stock cooler...

It is a good cooler, but over time, the performance decreases. Specifically, I have an FX 8320 and previously had temperatures ranging from 30 to 55 under full load. Now, the temperatures range from 40 to 70 (I recently changed the thermal paste)

These days, with the temperatures playing outside in Athens, a friend of mine asked me to advise him on buying a cooler. So, I decided to give my advice here as well. The cooler is very good in terms of temperatures. The temperatures reach up to 58-60 degrees Celsius at full load. It is quiet and very beautiful (for those who care). It is a bit bulky and someone with a mid tower like mine will have difficulty installing it. It is truly worth it.

It is definitely a good cooler, but also a solution to not use the Intel cooler. As for temperatures, I have not seen any difference compared to the stock Intel cooler. It simply reduces the temperature by 3 to 5 degrees under load. The difference will be more noticeable in the summer. But if you are going to buy this cooler for the same price, prefer the Intel one, there is no reason not to. Otherwise, spend a little more for better cooling. In general, it works just as well as the Intel cooler. I do not prefer it for overclocking.

Guys, I don't have much to say.. I trust it, it's the 3rd one I buy to install on my computers and I am completely satisfied!
It's not for crazy builds with overclocking and stuff, but for the work I needed it for, it keeps my i3 at 33°C.
And on the i7 6700k that I installed it on, it maintained a very good temperature.
    Reliable!

Very good with good performance. It cools an fx-8320E very well. In normal use, it reaches temperatures of 17 to 27 degrees. In gaming, it's around 37-50 degrees approximately. I have the Corsair Carbide Spec-02, so I don't really care about space. The installation is a bit time-consuming because it's a bit large in size. And it doesn't make any noise, which concerns me.

Everyone says that the Intel cooler is great for basic processors! So, I had 50+ degrees and it made a lot of noise! I got this cooler and it's like a different person! It cools down to around 30 something and under heavy load 45-46! And I have it working at a very low RPM with the fan it has! Also, at some point, I will get another fan so that it can be push-pull and have even better airflow through the cooler! The best you can get for this money, I highly recommend it!

I have the tx3 evo for 1.5 years now on a 1156 motherboard with a 6-year-old Lynfield i5 760.... I have slightly overclocked it by 10% and the cooler doesn't go above 63-65 degrees on the intelburn test, which is the most difficult test of all.... Prime 95 is 70% lighter... I am quite satisfied because compared to the stock cooler, it lowered the temperature by 20 degrees (although I don't know if there was any issue with those results---45 idle---80-90 load--- because I didn't try it again).... So, the results are: idle 29-33, load 55-58, stress test 63-65.... I will try it on the i7 6700 or 6700k that I am planning to buy and I will come back with new results... Anyway, for stock processors, I would recommend it to everyone, even for older AMD processors....

  • A small beast!!! Excellent cooler, I have been using it for about a year on an Intel i5 4590. I have set the fan to work very slowly because in my case, whether I put it on full or close it, it's the same, so... it sounds a bit at full load but not crazy! During summer, idle temperature is >40 degrees and full load temperature is >65!

Description

The cooler from CoolerMaster is active, which means it uses a fan to reduce the processor's temperature. It has a 95W TDP. To properly operate the cooler, its wattage performance should be at least equal to the processor's Thermal Design Power (TDP). This will also help with the noise generated by the cooler's fan, as it won't reach its limits. A cooler with a lower TDP than the processor's may be less effective, noisy, and could potentially reduce the lifespan and performance of your processor.

    Idle: 34 degrees
Internet browsing + light tasks: 40 degrees
    Gaming: 50-55 degrees
    Cinebench R20: 60-65 degrees
    IntelBurnTest: 70-75 degrees

Excellent product, a little difficult to install on a Z370 that does not have a guide for the correct screw placement. Fully satisfied from the moment it was installed.

What can I say, I have an FX 8350/GTX 1060. It is a beast, with temperatures of 22 degrees idle and 55 degrees under load. It is efficient and compact with 90 fans. It is perfect for gaming, I play Mafia 3, Battlefield 1, etc. And what can I say, I recommend it to everyone who wants something practical and good!

  • Wonderful vacuum cleaner, when it was released I was impressed by its size. Of course, now it can't be compared to the new ones in terms of features. On the other hand, it still works just fine, just by dusting it off every few years.
