The Viltrox V EF-E5 adapter allows Canon EF lenses to be used on cameras with a Sony E mount, supporting autofocus and in-lens image stabilization. The OLED display shows the focal length, aperture, aperture mode, and debug mode. Debug mode allows manual adjustments for incompatible lenses, while the plus and minus buttons adjust focus parameters.

Electronic communication transfers EXIF data and supports phase-detection or contrast-detection autofocus. A built-in switch lets you select the autofocus mode without accessing the camera menu, while the micro-USB port is used for firmware updates. The removable tripod foot has a 1/4"-20 thread.
