Playtime: 120 minutes
Players: 1-4
The most important world in Imperium is Arrakis, known as Dune, due to its vast desert. It is the location of the spice, a substance necessary for interstellar navigation. Whoever controls Arrakis controls the spice. And whoever controls the spice controls the universe.
Dune: War for Arrakis places players in the roles of the heads of Houses Harkonnen and Atreides during the Desert War. Each has their own goals and resources to ensure that, in the end, control of the spice is theirs.
- Asymmetric gameplay: The two sides start in different situations, with House Harkonnen controlling the planet, while House Atreides must use hit-and-run tactics to weaken House Harkonnen's grip.
- Detailed miniatures: The various units and characters in the game are represented on the table by highly detailed colored plastic miniatures.
- Bring the story of Dune to your tables: The game brings many aspects of the story and lore of the Dune novels to life through its mechanics and detailed miniatures, allowing players to feel as if they are fighting for control of the spice.
