The flexible METALPLAST conduit is made from hot-dip pre-galvanized metal tape, helically extruded and formed into a flexible metal conduit. It is then coated with a self-extinguishing plastic coating and UV additive for greater resistance to sunlight.

The product offers very high mechanical strength, excellent flexibility, and easy conductor access, as well as high corrosion resistance due to the thickness of the steel galvanization.

• Impact test: 2kg/100mm. Category 3 of EN61386.01 (medium)
• Bend test: Flexible. Category 5 of EN 61386.0
• Electrical continuity: With electrical insulation characteristics. Category 2 of EN 61386.01
• IP degree of protection: Depends on the connector used
• Corrosion resistance: High corrosion resistance due to plastic coating and galvanization thickness (110-140μm)
