The mobile phone is very good so far. I have had it for a week now, in terms of speed it's great since it has 8GB of RAM, of course. The speaker sounds very clear and loud. The photos are good for a mobile phone. It has FM radio, something that the 12 Pro 5G doesn't have, but there is no option to listen to it through the speaker, which I don't like. Let's talk about the battery. I know that after the new software update, there is only one network option, which is 2G/3G/4G, and it constantly tries to find a signal, resulting in the battery draining quickly. Also, you don't have the option to disable VOLTE. Having had a bad experience with a previous phone after updating, I decided not to do it yet with this one. The result is that I have the option to choose which network to use. I have always had it set to 2G for years because I have a better signal everywhere, and if I want internet, I switch it to 4G when needed. This way, my battery lasts at least 3 days. I don't know how it will go without doing the update yet, but not having the stress of trying to find a power outlet or constantly carrying a power bank with me is something.
The mobile phone is amazing. The battery is very powerful. Its processor runs all the applications very quickly. The screen is very good. It has nothing to envy from the more "branded" mobile phones. For its price, it is the best choice. The only negative thing is that its speaker is located on the top side of the device, resulting in the conversation being heard by those around you.

Hello everyone. Everything is fine so far, generally fast in use (I don't use it excessively). As for gaming, I have tried one and it plays just fine. The screen is excellent, photos are quite good, videos are good, and the sound is EXCEPTIONAL.
What impressed me was the charging. As soon as I did the first few charges, it showed the turbo charging sign, which was impressive as it charged in 15-20 minutes. However, this function stopped existing after a few days of use. And I don't know the reason. It charges with the so-called fast charging, but not with the turbo. The charger is the original one from the box. As for the battery, it's okay... It lasts for a day with normal use, but not with heavy use! With heavy use, it lasts less than a day. If you're not heavily involved with the internet, it can easily last more than a day.
These are the things I remember for now, if I remember anything else, I will come back.
even though it's quite similar to xiaomi 10 pro the phone includes some very interesting innovations like the way that deal with temperatures, coming around for days in high efficiency mode, it's a very good phone due to the camera and the thermal management for the money that you pay.

Well, coming from 5 years with Huawei p30 pro and 1 year with iPhone 13, never had such a problem with the p30 pro. I used to play games, listen to music, message on Instagram, and it never overheated and always charged properly!
Here, the "poor thing played the radio" for 5 hours and it crashed! Simply tragic!!
I bought this phone as a second device because my Huawei broke. Unfortunately, it doesn't even serve that purpose!!

I have it for about a month. Nice photos, no lag, battery is okay, NFC is okay, overall a good phone. The only negative is the video, which has good resolution but without OIS it shakes a lot and you need to have a very steady hand.
Excellent, the Dolby Atmos in videos with movies etc. is amazing, but in music it's better to deactivate it... I have only done it once and it went from 11% to max in less than 1.5 hours... The battery is currently satisfactory... but you always want it to last longer no matter what you buy. However, fast charging balances the situation.

The mobile phone, based on its characteristics, does not work so well. It has a very good screen and camera, satisfactory battery life, and smooth operation in browsing and internet-related apps, but it lags on both wifi and network. My previous mobile phone, poco x3 pro, works better even until today.
My comment is about the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G (6GB/128GB). Even though it comes with Android 11 MIUI 13, on the first day I received and opened it, I got an update for Android 12 MIUI 14, so there is no reason to worry about the old version that the device has since it receives upgrades. I also want to mention the 6GB RAM, which many consider to be insufficient. Inside the device, there is a "RAM expansion" feature that uses space from the ROM, so it becomes 8GB instead of 6GB. For the money I paid, €215, I don't think there is any better option in terms of specs. If you don't have more money to spend, it is a good choice.

USAGE
The usage I have for the phone can be considered demanding, but not exactly demanding usage.
I need good sound and speed, RAM for multitasking and quick app opening. I need all of these for my work, so the use of the phone is both personal and professional.
FINAL THOUGHTS?
Excellent, unbelievable that you get something so decent for this price. It froze once in the 4 days of use, but that freeze was justified because I tried to open an app immediately after restarting without letting it fully activate. The camera is great for this price, not crystal clear quality but beautiful. I won't analyze the camera part because I only use it for documents or simple use on social media, which is very satisfactory.
BATTERY
Disappointing battery, it lasts 3/4 of the day with simple use. If you have a 120Hz screen, it decreases to half of the day, 2/4. However, it is saved by the fast charger of the phone, which can fully charge it in 20 minutes.
SCREEN
Truly black, high resolution, crystal clear, bright, and doesn't strain your eyes.
SPEAKERS
Dolby Atmos L-R system, the experience is perfect. You have speakers on the left and right, and you have a feeling that the sound is coming directly from the screen. It's an immersive sound experience, I would say.
IN SUMMARY,
I don't think (at least I haven't found) there are competitors at this price. With this amount of money, receiving such features in a phone, combined with the incredible functionality and UI of Xiaomi, is simply a one-way street.

Definitely, it is a good mobile phone and with its features, the 8GB/256GB is undoubtedly value for money. At first glance and the feel in hand, it shows two categories above in quality. I consider its screen to be one of the best in the 200-300 euro category. Its processor, combined with the 8GB memory and ample capacity, ensures smooth operation. The camera is also top-notch in the 200-300 euro category and may even surpass several more expensive options.
Now, the negatives, you will have to compromise on 5G with 4G. Personally, it doesn't bother me. The battery is in a moderate condition as it is a powerful mobile phone in terms of hardware, so it is logical to consume energy.
In comparison to the Note 12 Pro 5G, it is a newer build (2022 for the Note 12 Pro 5G vs 2023 for the Note 12 Pro 4G). A negative for the Note 12 Pro 5G, in my opinion, is that it does not have memory card support and the option of a less reliable processor.
Overall, all of the above led me to conclude that the Note 12 Pro 4G is the best choice in the 200-300 euro range.
