Differences between the classic Hammer and Weight Throw:

• It comes with an integrated handle (without wire) that spins.
• Constructed from forged iron for better durability.

What is Weight Throw?

• There are 2 different types of competition:
• Distance throwing competition.
• Height throwing competition.

In the distance throwing, there are 2 weight categories: for men (28LBS and 56LBS) and women (14LBS and 28LBS). In the height throwing, the athlete has 3 attempts to throw over a specific height with weights of 56LBS for men and 28LBS for women.
