Description & Specifications

Piano Adventures is a piano method that is based on discovery, creativity, and adventure. The Level 2A lesson book follows the Level 1 lesson book. Piano Adventures Level 2 is divided into Level 2A and Level 2B. Level 2A continues the ongoing reading orientation through a musically engaging multi-key approach. The study of major and minor transpositions is explored in the 5-finger positions of C, D, D, and A.

The following features contribute to the success of the Piano Adventures method:

  • A gradual approach with continuous review – the materials are organized into units that represent the key concepts and skills. As new units are introduced, previous concepts and skills continue to be reinforced.
  • A wide range of styles in the musical material - this helps develop musicianship and encourages personal expression. Fantastic lyrics add enjoyment, while teacher duets provide rhythmic vitality and soundness.
  • A strong basis in reading that builds success in musical performance at heights.
