The Camwon ZIPIR-A wireless motion sensor uses PIR infrared detection and has a detection range of 12 m and a 110° angle. PET mode suppresses the alarm when animals weighing up to 15 kg are detected. Wireless transmission operates at 433 MHz, with a signal range of up to 80 m in open space.
The sensor is wall-mounted at a height of approximately 2–2.2 m and is powered by three AA batteries. It features a self-test function, a low-battery indicator, and a programmable pulse counter with a choice of 1, 3, or 5 pulses. To save energy, after two activations within 3 minutes, it enters standby mode and resumes detection when no motion has been detected for the following 3 minutes.
