The Unior Allen socket has a 1/2'' drive and double-layer colour-coded insulation. It is made from chrome vanadium steel with a chrome finish, while the bit is made from special tool steel.

The heads are fully hardened by heat treatment. The socket is manufactured in accordance with DIN 7422 and EN IEC 60900 standards and has been tested in accordance with EN IEC 60900. Unior VDE insulated tools are designed for work on electrical installations and provide protection when working on live circuits up to 1000 V. If the second layer of insulation becomes visible, the tool must be replaced.
