Users can choose from three amplification modes: stereo mode (2 x 800W Stereo), dual-mono mode (1x Main / 1x Monitor), or bridged high-power mono output mode (1600W Bridge Mode). Passive speakers connect via professional Speakon sockets.

Preamplifiers, Phantom Power & Signal Management

Mono channels 1 to 8 feature IMP (Invisible Mic Preamp) microphone preamps, providing a dynamic range of 130 dB and an extended frequency response. All microphone channels support centrally activated +48V Phantom Power for use with condenser microphones. Each mono channel includes a Pad switch to reduce the input level, Clip LED indicators, and a 3-band analogue equalizer with a Low Cut filter.

24-bit Effects Processor & FBQ System

The signal processing section includes an internal 24-bit digital effects processor, offering 100 factory presets, including Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger and Pitch Shifter. Meanwhile, the FBQ Feedback Detection system analyzes the frequency spectrum through the dual 7-band graphic equalizer, illuminating the corresponding faders when feedback is detected and allowing the level to be corrected immediately.

Master Section, XPQ 3D & Standby Functions

The PMP4000's Master section features XPQ 3D Stereo Surround to widen the stereo image, as well as Voice Canceller, which filters out the main vocal frequencies from stereo audio sources. With a single press, the Standby switch mutes all microphone channels while keeping the Tape/CD stereo inputs active, allowing background music to play during breaks.
