    I worked with it at 6400 (it became 36-105), it is very lightweight with internal metal rings and not rubber, meaning it is of perfect quality construction and completely silent. Ideal for gimbals due to its weight. If you don't need the 2.8, it is the best lens. I read somewhere that Zeiss will stop producing lenses, which would be a shame, on one hand, but on the other hand, the lens will gain collector's value!! The 24-105 is also good, but if you don't need the extra zoom, then there is no reason.

    The lens is a diamond, nice autofocus nice stabilizer, as for the 24/70 quite satisfactory range with the sony a7iii I have you can crop the sensor and automatically the lens becomes 105, be careful this applies only to video not that in photography it doesn't happen it's just that if you crop you lose megapixels from 24 the a7iii goes to 10, I think no one wants to sacrifice so many pixels if someone wants something more they have to go to the 24/105 with the negatives in weight and price, that's all from me I hope I helped!
