Alchimica Aquadur epoxy primer is used on construction materials such as concrete, and as a primer for polyurethane- or epoxy-based systems and cementitious materials. It acts as a water and water-vapour barrier and can be applied to surfaces exposed to rising damp or negative pressure. It is water-soluble, almost odourless and non-flammable, and adheres even to fresh concrete.
It is also used as a concrete sealing coating and to improve adhesion between old and new concrete. As a primer, apply with a roller in one or two thin coats, with a total consumption of 150 g/m². To use as a water and water-vapour barrier, apply in three coats, with a total consumption of 600 g/m². Mix the two components thoroughly, then add water at a rate of 10–30%.
