The work of Giorgos Andréadis, "TAMAMA," does not require any special introduction. Its many editions and translations have made it the foundation for the creation of a film script.

However, the transfer of the book "TAMAMA" into the Pontian dialect holds particular significance. In the language that Tamama herself spoke, which emerged from the depths of her mind and soul when she murmured in the hospital during her severe illness. In the language that the author heard her stories in, stories so intense that the words and expressions of the heroine have been preserved verbatim.

The Pontian dialect represents the best and most direct way to express Tamama's thoughts and feelings. This new edition is bilingual, with the Pontian text running parallel to the Modern Greek text for the convenience of readers unfamiliar with the Pontian dialect.

At the end of the book, a short photographic appendix has been added, featuring images from earlier editions, but thanks to artificial intelligence, these images are significantly enhanced. The text was edited by Giannis Terzidis.
