Description

BenQ Gaming / Business / Home Cinema projector TK700 with 4K UHD resolution.

The throw ratio indicates the width of the image produced by the projector when placed at a specific distance from the screen. For example, a throw ratio of 1.3:1 means that the image will be 1 meter wide when the projector is placed 1.3 meters away from the screen.

The projection technology is DLP (DMD) and its lamp is a standard one, which has higher brightness and shorter lifespan compared to LED lamps. There are projectors with one or three DLP chips. The image is created when the projector's lamp light passes through a rotating color wheel and reflects off a chip that contains hundreds of thousands of tiny mirrors. This chip is called a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device). They are suitable for spaces with ample lighting, such as classrooms or conference rooms.

Brightness and contrast are two very important features. This particular model has a brightness of 3200 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. Contrast indicates the difference between the darkest and brightest parts of an image and is a quality indicator of the image. An image projected by a projector with a low contrast ratio appears washed out and flat. Conversely, with a high contrast ratio, the image appears more realistic and with greater "depth." Brightness indicates how much light the projector can deliver on a specific surface area.
