The secondary mirror is supported by a cross-shaped arrangement of metal sheets, which are only 0.5mm thick, minimizing the diffraction phenomenon and light loss. Additionally, the model features a 2″ focuser and a 1.25″ adapter, allowing the use of eyepieces of both calibers.

SkyWatcher Dobsonian telescopes are equipped with the effective tension control handle, which is a SkyWatcher patent.
