The music book that Johann Sebastian Bach presented to his new wife Anna Magdalena in 1722 includes a unique image of his family, allowing us to be alongside Bach as a composer, teacher, husband, and father. Over the years, these notebooks became a space for the family to share educational exercises, favorite pieces - from Bach and other composers - to play or sing, early compositions of the children, and initial editions of some of Bach's most ambitious works for the piano.

This new edition includes smaller and easier pieces from Anna Magdalena's notebooks, based on the refreshed and innovative academic edition by Christoph Wolff.
