It really doesn't "crumple" the hair, meaning it doesn't leave a mark, at least on curls (I don't know about straight hair) where it was tied. And it holds them just tight enough for a nice loose ponytail with a bit of volume.
The downside is that it doesn't come out of curly hair without a few strands getting caught inside...

Το αρνητικό είναι οτι δε βγαίνει από το κατσαρό μαλλί χωρίς να πιαστούν μερικές τουφίτσες μέσα...
