The Unitek C1897BK-20M flat network cable transfers data at speeds of up to 10 Gbps and a frequency of 500 MHz. It has a gold-plated RJ45 (8P8C) connector at each end for connecting a computer, router, NAS server, console or other device to a network.
The 26 AWG twisted pairs are double-shielded: each pair is wrapped in aluminium foil, while the cable is covered with a braid, in accordance with the ISO/IEC 11801 standard. The shielding helps protect against electromagnetic interference, while the flexible boot on the latches protects the connectors.
