Once upon a time, an oyster felt pain from a grain of sand that had entered it. So it wondered, what should it do: Curse its fate for bringing it to such a state? Curse the government? Shout out for elections and demand that the sea must protect it? "No," it said - as it had touched its side - "since I cannot get rid of the grain of sand, I will try to make it useful."
And time passed, and the little grain of sand, which had troubled it so much, became a beautiful pearl. A pearl is created when a grain of sand enters the body of the oyster. If the oyster cannot reject it and expel it, to ostracize this annoying visitor, then it secretes a substance from its mantle (mother pearl) and surrounds the grain, thus creating a precious pearl...
