Sounds Like Love, the new enchanting romantic comic by Ashley Poston is available for pre-order now!

‘This is a beautiful story. Such an emotional depiction of love, loss, and self-discovery.’

‘Ashley Poston writes truly beautiful love stories with a touch of magic.’

‘Ashley Poston knows how to write romance... if you are a believer, a kindred spirit, a kitchen dancer, and a lover of romance with a bit of magical realism, this is the book for you.’

An overstressed public relations book officer with a perfectly planned future hits a hurdle when she falls for her temporary roommate... only to discover he lives seven years in the past, in this witty and wise novel from the bestselling author of The Dead Romantics.

Sometimes, the worst day of your life happens, and you have to figure out how to live after it.

Six months ago, Clementine West had the worst day of her life. So, she devised a plan to keep her heart safe: stay busy, work hard, take no risks. And it was working.

That was until the day she found a strange man standing in her kitchen. A man with kind eyes, a crooked smile, and a recipe for the perfect lemon pie. The kind of man who, before everything, she might have fallen in love with...

He is perfect except for one thing: he lives in the past. Seven years ago, to be exact.

This should be impossible, but Clementine used to love the impossible things. And maybe, just maybe, she will love them again. After all, love is never a matter of time – but a matter of timing.

A book I was eagerly waiting to be translated because for those who don't know, The Dead Romantics is one of my 3 favorite books in the world! Therefore, as a fan of the author, I immediately picked up Seven Years Away and got lost in its magic and romance!
Ashley Poston's writing is so magical and wonderful, making you lose yourself in the romance!
Clementine has recently lost her most beloved person, while some changes in her professional life make her reconsider what she ultimately wants from her life. Her aunt bequeaths her an apartment that has 2 rules: to take off your shoes as soon as you enter and to never fall in love there.
Ewan has arrived in New York with a dream: to become a chef and offer the "perfect meal" to the world. But what happens when after a very tiring day, Clementine returns home and finds a stranger in the kitchen cooking lemon tart and fajitas? And were her aunt's rules and stories about time travel really just fairy tales? What happens when the past, present, and future collide? Will it be the right moment for a great love filled with romance, art, recipes, and fantastic food in an apartment that doesn't count time?
I don't know what to say to convince you to read it other than that I can't stop thinking about it for days since I finished it, while as I was reading, my heart swelled with the sweet writing, the beautiful characters, and the magical realism that made the story unique! The story of Lemon and Ewan will reward you, take you on a journey through time, and leave you with a sweet taste of good food after you read it! I wholeheartedly recommend it; I haven't read such a lovely book in a long time!
