    100% Casein Complex is a milk protein blend with dominant Micellar Casein exclusively from casein milk proteins. Casein is high in essential branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and very high in L-glutamine, the most abundant free amino acid in human blood.

    The protein in 100% Casein Complex contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass as well as the maintenance of normal bones. The milk proteins in this product are so-called complete proteins, because they provide the body with all the necessary types of amino acids, including the 9 amino acids that the body cannot synthesize and must be supplied by the diet:

    • Histidine
    • Isoleucine
    • Leucine
    • Lysine
    • Methionine
    • Phenylalanine
    • Threonine
    • Tryptophan

      The casein powder has a different behavior than whey. It makes a mixture thicker because it retains more liquid. It doesn't say much on its own with milk, but if you add other things like oats, banana, peanut butter, etc., you make a wonderful evening (or morning) meal. This particular one has a nice taste when you drink it, but a little later it leaves a bad aftertaste. The smell when you open the box is like smelling bird food
