It sticks excessively. The performance has nothing to do with what you expect from the processor and memory (16GB). It's slow, it freezes, it takes hours to download apps, it doesn't install ERTflix, as if it's broken (but it's not). It's so bad that it's useless. I'm returning it as defective. I went back to an old one from 2012 (!) with Android 6 (!) that works. This one doesn't work.
The shipping is fast, no complaints from the store, except that it's good not to sell this particular product.

I wanted to buy a TV Box MXQ Pro 4K UHD with WiFi USB 2.0, 16GB RAM, and 256GB storage space with Android 11.1 operating system to replace a PHILIPS HMP5000 which lacks Netflix as well as the EON & COSMOTE applications. I thought that the MXQ, due to its Android 11, would download these two applications from the Play Store. But it does NOT have Google Play Store, but something of its own in the store. Because we have grown up now and I don't have the patience (for those who remember DREAMBOX or even earlier when we found broken programs through CDs divided into 1.44 floppy disks or even earlier into 3.5), to sit and try to fix something other than what I bought, for this reason I try to buy things that promise something from their specifications. I read about other MXQ devices with less RAM (no, I didn't search externally, only skroutz) that they are slow but I imagined that with (it says) 16GB RAM (xaxaxaxa), no matter what processor you put in, even the most useless one, something will run DECENTLY. My mistake, a big mistake. This is T E R R I B L E. If someone buys it for KODI, yes it works (when KODI connects). Yes, it works on a 125' projector with 1920x1080 resolution, yes it connects to the home network and plays anything from the HDD (I didn't check Wi-Fi, I prefer cables and keyboard). Oh, I forgot, I opened various applications, as many as it has, but I couldn't manage to close them. There are no buttons for going back or closing applications, or I couldn't find them. Maybe someone with root access can handle it better. Or maybe the device has a problem because even without power supply, it smells like bakelite.

Θεώρησα οτι το MXQ λόγω και Android 11 θα κατέβαζε από το Play Store τις 2 αυτές εφαρμογές. Αλλά ΔΕΝ έχει google Play Store αλλά κάτι δικό του σε store. Επειδή μεγαλώσαμε πια και δεν έχω το κέφι (για όσους θυμούνται DREAMBOX ή πιο παλιά που βρίσκαμε σπασμένα προγράμματα μέσω CD χωρισμένα σε δισκετές των 1,44 ή ακόμα πιο παλιά σε 3,5) να κάθομαι και να προσπαθώ να φτιάξω κάτι άλλο από αυτό που πήρα, για το λόγο αυτό και προσπαθώ να αγοράζω πράγματα τα οποία υπόσχονται από προδιαγραφές κάτι. Διάβασα για άλλα μηχανάκια MXQ με λιγότερη RAM (όχι δεν έψαξα εξωτερικό, μόνο skroutz) οτι είναι αργά αλλά φαντάστικα οτι με (λέει) RAM 16 (xaxaxaxa), ότι επεξεργαστή και να του βάλεις, τον πιο άχρηστο, κάτι θα τρέξει ΑΞΙΟΠΡΕΠΩΣ. Λάθος μου, μέγα λάθος. Αυτό Σ Ε Ρ Ν Ε Τ Α Ι. Αν κάποιος το πάρει για KODI, ναι παίζει (όταν το KODI συνδεθεί). Ναι σε projector 125' παίζει 1920x1080, ναι συνδέεται στο οικιακό και παίζει ότι θες από ΗDD (wi-fi δεν τσέκαρα είμαι των καλωδίων και του πληκτολογίου). Α, ξέχασα, άνοιξα εφαρμογές, διάφορες και όσες έχει, αλλά δεν κατάφερα να τις κλείσω. Δεν υπάρχουν κουμπί/ά για πίσω ή κλείσιμο εφαρμογών, ή εγώ δεν το/α βρήκα. Ίσως κάποιος με root να τα καταφέρει καλύτερα. Ή μπορεί το μηχανάκι να έχει πρόβλημα διότι ακόμα και χωρίς παροχή ρεύματος μυρίζει βακελίτη.

I use it mostly for YouTube. At first, it was freezing terribly and restarting, then I realized that I had to turn off the decoder because it was affecting it. I closed it with the remote control and it worked fine for 20 minutes, then it started freezing again. It got on my nerves and I turned it off. Τον εκλεισα με το κοντρολ και δουλευε μια χαρα για 20 λεπτα, μετα αρχισε παλι τα κοληματα. μου εσπασε τα νευρα και το εκλεισα. δεν μπορω να ξερω αν αυτα που γραφει ειναι αληθεια, αυτο ομως που ξερω ειναι πως απογοητευτηκα πολυ και πιστευω πως την πατησα και πεταξα 44.00. θα μου πεις γιατι δεν το εστειλες πισω. Δεν ειχα τον χρονο να το ελεγξω για αρκετη ωρα και ποτε δεν βγαζω συμπερασματα αν δεν το δουλεψω κατι.

Η ανάλυση της εικόνας μετατρέπεται σε μικρότερη αυτόματα ανάλογα με την ταχύτητα. Αλλά στην πράξη δεν βλέπεις διαφορά. Έχω πλήρη οθόνη με καλή εικόνα.

Α, ξέχασα, άνοιξα εφαρμογές, διάφορες και όσες έχει, αλλά δεν κατάφερα να τις κλείσω. Δεν υπάρχουν κουμπί/ά για πίσω ή κλείσιμο εφαρμογών, ή εγώ δεν το/α βρήκα. Ίσως κάποιος με root να τα καταφέρει καλύτερα. Ή μπορεί το μηχανάκι να έχει πρόβλημα διότι ακόμα και χωρίς παροχή ρεύματος μυρίζει βακελίτη.

Δεν εχει chromacast, ασυμβατο με πολλές εφαρμογές όπως πχ ertflix.
Aντι να πετάξεις στα σκουπίδια 45 ευρώ όπως έκανα, πάρε ένα Google Chromecast να σωθείς.
Εκτός αν θέλεις να το κάνεις κομμάτια με σφυρί ή πας γυρεύοντας να ανατινάξεις την εσωτερική σου γαλήνη. Αυτά....

Το χρισιμοποιω περισοτρερο για youtube. Στην αρχη κολουσε αφορητα και εκανε επανεκινηση, μετα καταλαβα πως πρεπει να κλεινεις τον αποκωδικοοιητη γιατι επειρεαζεται. Τον εκλεισα με το κοντρολ και δουλευε μια χαρα για 20 λεπτα, μετα αρχισε παλι τα κοληματα. μου εσπασε τα νευρα και το εκλεισα. δεν μπορω να ξερω αν αυτα που γραφει ειναι αληθεια, αυτο ομως που ξερω ειναι πως απογοητευτηκα πολυ και πιστευω πως την πατησα και πεταξα 44.00. θα μου πεις γιατι δεν το εστειλες πισω. Δεν ειχα τον χρονο να το ελεγξω για αρκετη ωρα και ποτε δεν βγαζω συμπερασματα αν δεν το δουλεψω κατι.

Το πήρα πριν 3 μέρες και μέχρι τώρα λειτουργεί πολύ καλά. Πριν το πάρω κάποιος έγραψε ότι το τηλεκοντρόλ δεν λειτουργεί καλά και πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείς το ποντίκι.
Αλλά μόλις έβαλα γεμάτες μπαταρίες λειτουργεί πολύ καλά. Επίσης κάπου στο ίντερνετ έγραφε ότι αν έχει ανάλυση 4Κ θέλει 50 Mbps ταχύτητα ίντερνετ, αλλά εγώ έχω 24 Mbps, την φτηνότερη ταχύτητα του cosmote, και πάλι λειτουργεί πολύ καλά. Η ανάλυση της εικόνας μετατρέπεται σε μικρότερη αυτόματα ανάλογα με την ταχύτητα. Αλλά στην πράξη δεν βλέπεις διαφορά. Έχω πλήρη οθόνη με καλή εικόνα.
