With 100 settings on the grinder I still haven't figured out what's going wrong... If I grind coarse, it runs like water, if I grind fine, water spills from the sides. I guess I'm going for another one...

This was a great addition to my DeLonghi Dedica. It is of great quality and worth the money. It comes with a single-shot espresso basket. If you need a double-shot, you must order it separately.

The only extra thing I wanted was a bigger basket, which you can get separately of course, otherwise I am completely satisfied

Initially, the coffee with this type of portafilter is at a much higher level than the pressurized one that DeLonghi has by design. Its quality is very good, and for over a year that I have been using it on an island, I have not seen any signs of oxidation or salts. The wooden handle, however, needs to be oiled. Also, during the second coffee, it "unscrews," but it might be the coffee machine's gasket that needs replacing, so I wouldn't classify it as a negative. However, the fact that it is completely open from the bottom means that many times the coffee is ejected from various points on the sides, so the option with the distributor underneath is better.

It looks very premium! The only thing that bothers me is that with the dedica, sometimes instead of the coffee flowing from a line in the center, it splashes a bit from holes that I can't find.. but maybe it's the grind of the coffee that I haven't found perfect yet.

When I got the Delica arte, I also got the portafilter along with a larger basket. I also have a grinder. Now, to the point. If you experiment with different blends, experience is needed. In the grind, in the tamping, and in many other parameters. If you succeed in the above, the result is very close to cafes with good coffee that are out there.

I haven't managed to achieve the perfect result with this one, of course, it requires experiments with different grinds and experience; anyone who doesn't have that should avoid it

Excellent fit with the 51mm IMS basket and the Delonghi Dedica. The quality of the extraction has improved significantly compared to the stock Delonghi. You need to have a good grinder and experiment quite a bit at the beginning to find the right grind setting, but the difference is truly worth it.

Great improvement on the Dedica stock portafilter. Build quality feels good. Fits perfectly on the machine and produces a decent espresso with nice crema. I can just about fit 18g of coffee. It splatters slightly outside of the cup sometimes but not much. Combines well with a Delonghi 51mm tamper.

Together with the dedica, it fits perfectly. Combined with a df64 gen2, it produces a very good espresso, with minimal to no channeling. I haven't been concerned about changing the basket yet. I put in 14.7 grams with a setting of 16 on the grinder. The wdt is of course essential

very good quality, it has nothing to do with the portafillers under pressure that come with the machines to make foam. personally, I am satisfied with the result.

Very good quality portafilter, fits perfectly on the dedica. I had already modified the stock portafilter to not be pressurized and had bought a larger basket, but with this specific portafilter, the coffee has improved significantly. Just the fact that during extraction the coffee no longer comes into contact with the metal part of the stock portafilter enhances the flavor and body.

Terrible espresso without crema, like black water. Also, it splatters with pressure from the sides. The mama portafilter does a better job, I don't know why. Now if mine is just defective, I don't know

Nice portafilter, good fit on the Dedica. I don't know about the basket as I replaced it directly with an IMS.

Worthy replacement for the mediocre filter provided by the machine. Sturdy construction and the basket locks very well. Requires testing to find the right grams and the correct pressure.

Very high quality product. You enjoy better coffee than the factory blind portafilters. The only downside is that it doesn't fit my Krups virtuoso and I made a Teflon ring like in the photo.

Just got it. Nice construction and good quality that you can understand as soon as you hold it in your hands. Definitely better than Dedica's portafilter.
It fits perfectly on the machine and it seems to be specially made for the Delonghi Dedica EC685. Of course, it can also fit on other machines.
It comfortably holds 16g and with the right grind, it can hold 18g (it has space for more, but then the machine might get clogged).
Although it is bottomless, the basket has about 1 finger indentation compared to the body of the portafilter, so you will have to bend down a little to see how the coffee comes out.
It is also much easier to clean.
Expensive but complements the machine perfectly.
Because it is a professional type portafilter (bottomless), it requires more emphasis on grinding the coffee (much finer) and it would be good to have your own grinder (e.g. sage smart grinder) or know how to ask to have it ground at the coffee shop (with the difficulties involved).

Very good Portafilter. It can hold up to 16g. If you spend a little time, you can make an excellent coffee with it. I recommend it!

Very good construction.. I still haven't learned how to work it to produce the foam I was expecting and saw in videos. Either I am doing something wrong or I haven't set it up correctly, I suppose. If you have the Dedica and you are interested in fully utilizing it, buy a bottomless portafilter. This specific one is one of the highest quality ones you can find in the Greek market and it comes with a basket for up to 16gr. However, the essence lies in the basket...

Perfect. No other coffee maker. Especially in the morning it's like watching perfect videos. Good construction. I've had it for almost 2 years and it hasn't had any issues.
