Description

Automatic safety device of type S204M-K10, DIN rail, 4 poles with screw terminals, 4-pole, curve K, designed to protect motors, transformers, and auxiliary circuits against overloads and short circuits. Suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial installations with loads that have high inrush currents. Complies with standards IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2.

Features:

  • Safety terminals with double chamber.
  • Independent chamber for mounting busbars and cables.
  • Laser-printed markings and indicators that do not fade.
  • Screws that do not come out of the body.
  • Protection against losses and a wide range of components.

Rated values: 10A, 400/440V AC, 50Hz, short-circuit breaking capacity 10kA, protection degree IP20, cover IP40, and on/off indicators, red-green, in light gray (RAL 7035). This is the S200M model from ABB.

Operating Curve

The tripping curve shows the time required for the circuit breaker to switch off in relation to the current passing through it. For small overcurrents, the tripping is delayed to avoid unnecessary interruptions, while for very high values, such as in the case of a short circuit, the breaker operates immediately to protect the circuit. Different types of curves are used depending on the needs of each installation and the type of loads.
