Front Mission Evolved is a third-person game released by Square Enix on 10/8/2010 and is available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox360. The entire series is based on controlling a robot called a wanzer, which is created from modular parts: body, left arm, right arm, and legs.

The action of Evolved takes place 50 years after the events of Front Mission 5, in the year 2171, when humanity begins to travel into space via orbital elevators. Players take on the role of engineer Dylan Ramsey, who gets involved in a real mechanized war that breaks out after the destruction of an orbital elevator in North America.

The majority of the game takes place inside the wanzer, but a series of missions will require players to exit the robot and play as humans. A large part of the environment will be destructible, allowing the robots to wreak real havoc on cars and buildings.
