    The bars are light, aerodynamic, and do not make noise. However, the fasteners and the caps that cover the "feet" are terrible. They do not fit well and are very difficult to close. To make sure that no cap would come off, I had to "tie" them with black adhesive tape. The roof box I used, which I have had for years, fit very well on the bars and did not move at all from its position, nor did it make any noise. I had no problem there. In general, it is a relatively cheap but good solution, except for the feet, which need to be handled very carefully.
