On the box, in the advertisements, and in the product video there is a photo, completely misleading, which shows the pump inside a basement laundry room—with a washing machine and dryer—placed on the floor and the float freely resting on it, without any presence of a person/user. There are water residues around.
So, the impression is given, from this image, that you can place the pump in your basement and leave it there, expecting that when water starts to accumulate it will begin to pump it out.
Next to the technical specifications, on the box, it says: "Residual fluid height: 25 mm min." (minimum residual water, 25mm).
All of the above constitute the definition of "misleading information."
The pump starts operating automatically at a height of 43-50 centimeters. Operation at a lower height is only possible manually.
But you only realize this by reading the user manual and after testing it, as I did.
The company technician confirmed this to me as well, who initially seemed not to understand the problem.
I struggled with buying and returning it (fortunately, the store I found here on Skroutz was correct in its transaction and adhered to the relevant terms).
I informed the Greek representative office accordingly in three different emails—no one bothered to reply.
A shame for a German company considered to be reputable.
