Description

Description

Never make the mistake of forgetting that you have your Personal Freedom, wherever you read this book. If you are at the sea, you can dip your feet; if you are in the city, you can go to the supermarket for a stroll, even if it seems silly; if you are in the mountains, you can smell the thyme and lie under the pines. I also took them for granted until I lost them. Just as I took my Personal Freedom for granted until I realized it was not.

What is it that keeps us standing in a critical moment? How can we see the Gift, even when it is surrounded by bars? How valuable is the compass WITHIN us, no matter what happens out there?

After a significant personal trial, Stefanos Xenakis returns with his most personal book. More vulnerable, stronger, more authentic. "8 Days Inside" is the diary of a man who, in the darkest moment of his life, sought and found the light where it is always hidden. WITHIN.

The Days That Changed My Life Forever

"Never make the mistake of forgetting that you have your Personal Freedom, wherever you read this book. If you are by the sea, you can wet your feet; if you are in the city, you can go to the supermarket for a stroll, even if it seems silly to you; if you are in the mountains, you can smell the juniper and lie down under the pines. I took these things for granted too, until I was deprived of them. Just as I took my Personal Freedom for granted. Until I realized it wasn't."

What keeps us standing in a critical moment? How can we see the Gift, even when it is behind bars? How precious is the compass INSIDE us, no matter what happens out there?

After a great personal trial, Stefanos Xenakis returns with his most personal book. More vulnerable, stronger, more real.

8 Days Inside is the diary of a man who, in the darkest moment of his life, sought and found the light where it always hides. INSIDE.

the definition of a fake book
i counted over 25 times that he says 'we laughed and we cried' and also he very often repeats himself, it seems like he is trying to fill pages.
he idolizes the detainees and raises them as the best kids and this and that, i wonder if he has connections with them and if he has had a coffee since he was released.
also, he was in detention and not in prison, the difference is huge
I would not recommend it as it is completely fake
positives: the book is of good quality and easy to read

The new book by Stefanos is not impressive. Easy writing from a life adventure he had. In reality, it doesn't delve into any of the topics it addresses but merely skims over them and leaves them. Would I recommend it... No.. maybe to someone who has been or plans to go to prison. His previous books were excellent, now we are noticing a slump. I accept the incident and let's move on to see his new book
