This volume includes one hundred short essays about the spirit of our times, structured into three sections covering themes from historical, spiritual, and Greek life.
The selection of texts, taken from publications in an Athenian newspaper, was made at the author's discretion for those worth preserving from the flood of time within the ark of a book.
Despite the tendency towards generalizations, the essays serve as responses to the challenges of everyday life. Man experiences dramatically the tension between ephemeral time and eternal timelessness. He lives the time of his life between these two tendencies. He experiences the ephemeral as an eternal drama and the eternal as an ephemeral drama.
To this end, the formless challenges of daily life must be shaped by the decisive word, which accomplishes the spiritual restoration of lost time. A task decidedly difficult. However, when achieved, it brings the hidden happiness of accomplishment. The preservation of the moment within the crystals of the spirit.
