Specifications
The Showood connector is a single connector in the RICON® system for concealed connections between primary and secondary beams. It has a slim profile and can be used with wood, steel or concrete, while the timber can be 50 mm wide or more. The system allows the spacing between joints to be adjusted and accommodates construction tolerances.
Its prefabricated design makes precise installation easier, while the timber members are joined without screwing. The connector can be disassembled and reinstalled in new materials. It offers enhanced corrosion resistance for use in indoor swimming pools, riding arenas, stables and agricultural buildings, as well as fire resistance in accordance with DIN 4102-2 when used with a concealed four-sided base.
