Specifications
The Showood connector is a single connection in the RICON® system for concealed connections between primary and secondary beams. It allows timber to be joined without screwing and accommodates joint spacing and building tolerances. It can be dismantled and reinstalled in new materials.
Its slim profile allows it to be used with timber widths of 50 mm and above. The system is suitable for timber, steel and concrete, while its concealed four-sided base is stated to be fire-resistant in accordance with DIN 4102-2. Its enhanced corrosion resistance makes it suitable for use in indoor swimming pools, riding arenas, stables and agricultural buildings.
