Initially, if you are not interested in aesthetics, then perhaps the new gaming headphone series from Sennheiser is worth considering.
Incredible headphones. Obviously, they do not have noise isolation (one of the reasons I chose them) and obviously the bass will not blow your mind. And even though I am a basehead, I don't care about the bass at all because it is the first time in my life that I have loved the highs because of these headphones. Easily the cleanest sound I have ever heard and incredible soundstage. In games, great accuracy in the space. The microphone is MORE than enough for simple communication with friends, it has incredible quality and good noise cancelling. I wouldn't call the ear cushions soft, but the headphones are so lightweight that you don't feel them at all. Finally, very serious and low profile aesthetics compared to Razer, etc. I have paired them with a soundblaster dac/amp (I think it's called x g6) and I don't need anything else.

Many things have been said about these headphones, and most of them are true. Now, in order to fully exploit their capabilities, you will need an external sound card as there is no EQ program to accompany them, without meaning that they do not perform well with the onboard sound card of the motherboard. The microphone is excellent, the sound they produce is flat without punchy bass, they are quite comfortable and lightweight on the head. Overall, they are an all-around open acoustic headset that does not distort the sound at maximum volume. Directional awareness in footsteps in new FPS titles will not be provided unless you tweak the EQ. Music sounds pleasant and in games like Witcher 3, it provides a very good soundstage. The only downside I would say is that they are entirely made of plastic and the design of the large microphone that cannot be removed like the cables.

The best headset I've ever had. The bass is just right. The sound is clear and full. In games, the depth of the sound creates an illusion that I have never experienced before. They are open headphones that, while they don't isolate the sound, if you have them a bit loud, you don't hear much around you. The microphone works great. It's worth saving up a little extra money to get it. I paired it with the Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 and now I'm fully immersed in every game.

I have been searching for a gaming headset for a long time that is open-air, lightweight, with excellent sound and stereo quality, and that allows me to adjust the volume and mute the microphone quickly and comfortably. Fortunately, I ended up choosing these ones, and they made me proud of my decision.
