The author has in-depth knowledge of the regulations, theory, and methodology of electrical engineering—which have not changed much over the last decades—something that helps anyone who wants to understand the basic principles or prepare for certification exams. But the diagrams of the electrical panels look as if they were designed on a computer from the 1980s and 1990s, perhaps even older. The schematics are black and white, and the reader cannot clearly distinguish which wire is L, P, N. In an electrical engineering book, the color coding of conductors (phase, neutral, ground) and color photos with detail are a matter of safety and clarity, not luxury. Unfortunately, the only substantial upgrade that seems to have been made compared with older manuals (if any exist) is probably the addition of modern protective devices (such as the RCD / residual-current relay, etc.). In other places, instead of using the tool that Microsoft Word provides, for example, for mathematical formulas so that they appear clear and nice, the mathematical formulas/equations have been screenshot from elsewhere and pasted in as photos. Something that is common in quite a few electrical engineering students' theses. Overall, the visual presentation remains outdated. Some photos/figures do not have descriptions underneath. But generally, good effort. And all the information is written correctly. You learn many things. But, in general, I understand that color books would cost more. Still, it would help a lot if the electrical panels presented had better clarity.
